I haven't run this cam before so I'm not sure what kind of traction issues I'm going to have. I guess I'll just check it and, what's the rule of thumb?, set it 4-6 degrees less than the LSA?

The cam should have a number on it on the rear, and possibly a work order number. Some hand grind the work order number into them. Post that number, someone should be able to ID the make, and with the work order number, you can call the manufacturer and find out what the grind is. Otherwise, you can add it to that grinder stand. .
