I predict before 2014 is out that I will run at least 9 teens N/A. and work towards the mid 8's with a mild shot......

A "mild shot" WTF is that? Why bother, start off at 300 and go up from there! Were you not the nitrous eminence at one point and time? |

I might "Step it up" later and pull the engine (reset the ring gaps, etc) put the old gears and converter in. Never say never right. First gotta get it tuned with the E-heads being done by Chris Sikorski. Worked out a swap deal and he' is redoing a set of 1994 set of E-heads that I plugged the pushrod hole and widened the port, (The bare no pushrod head wasn't available back then) ported back then and let someone else phuck them up after telling me back then he could get another 20 cfm out of them. Flowed less after i got them back, dropped the valves .100 and almost had a fist fight over the deal. But jail didn't seem like a viable option at the time Anyway. He has risen them from the dead and will be trying them out with the shortblock I currently have. Hope to have it running by then end of April. Cold weather has the money tree slim on pickin's. LOL. |

This is what your ad stated when you had the car for sale:"This car has been 8.90's back in 2003 with BFG Drag Radials, single stage fogger and weighing 3690 then. Now around 3250 with 200 lb driver. Set up for Stock Suspension Real Street classes. Have owned it since the mid 90's." So I don't have my calculator on hand but I think 3470 minus 3250 equals 220 lbs. When did you take all the weight out?

Compression works out to 12.75-1 but with the cam, the cranking compression shows (On the computer calculation, Bwahahahaha) that's it's 170 psi. Pump gas ?......... hummmmmm.
The pistons are coated and might try it if mjm421` gives me enough sh*t and still is running his pump gas combo. LOL. ![]()

Do not know what the spec are for you engine. Lets say Bore = 4.185 - Stroke = 4.5 - Rod Length = 6.75. Using my calculator, for you to have a 170 PSI cranking compression you would have to have IVC @ 97 ABDC. Stan

My calculator uses seat numbers at the valve. Since weather has an effect this was run with temp = 70 and Barometric Pressure = 29.92 Stan
