BUMP
Took the wife's 79 T/A to the track Sunday. Daily driver, Had to get that rush going. Been well over a year, was getting depressed. LOL. Made 5 passes. First light a .601 on a .500 tree. Ran 13 teens all day long on 87 octane, Crane #068 upgrade type cam and shifting at 5000 rpm. Then finally a 13.04 and the rest of the lights............ .018, .014, .015 and a .012 !!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe need to do some "lowly bracket racing" with the wife's car. LOL.  . The old man still got it. Talked with Mike and his flying Gold 70 GTO, tuning for the upcoming NMCA event. Jim Butcher was there tuning for the 6.50 index class. |
