If your interior was bright blue then it was a suede version of the bright blue, otherwise it would have been black suede. which color are you asking about?? the suede has a texturizing additive that makes the paint look almost like orange peel to help with the reflection of the sun. PPG doesn't make it anymore. I know a shop that bought a few gallons of the text agent(very small amount is used in the mix) and is still making this suede in pints using PPG lacquer.Which is what you want

70RAIII I was going to ask NORWOOD to restore my black upper front window posts and side trim..I am certain this must be a special code...is there anything you can tell me about it..is it the same as the dash or a diiferant formula and are they gloss or no gloss?..I definitely need some of this paint unless he has some?

Here are pictures of a never refinished 1971 scoop and a never refinished endure nose,. Those that know, will see why I positioned the nose as I did against the scoop. The photo's themselves verify the nose has never been painted. I think the scoop is a darker shade blue without the iridescence. You guys can make your own decisions.But this is as good of an original untouched example comparison as you will see for known Lurcerne blue original paint vs an original scoop. And as I said already, thouse whop know these endure noses will see what I mention that proves it has never been painted...

is it possible 2 different colours could have been used..easily..I believe the go to colour was Lucerne blue because I do believe I saw it in a paint catalog 30 odd years ago...my question is, in real life does TYROL match better..I need to know because I have an order in to paint my shaker and now I may need to change this..any one do this and have photos??
