I have an original never refinished 1971 shaker from a white car. Plenty of paint left on it..I will take some photos tomorrow and post.. I don't believe it was LB

I have a 1980 photo of a friends 1971 23k miles at the time...his shaker was definetly Lucerne blue..I can dig out the photo..also when I added the stripe to my 76 I found Lucerne blue in a paint catalog..that was how I knew the colour..on the other hand if TYROL is a closer match I would rather go with that as Lucerne blue is a poor match.I have a much better photo of that low mileage car I mentioned and you will see it clearly..all of these cars had Lucerne blue shakers

these are photos I took of an 1971 TRANS AM with 21k miles..an original owner car purchased in 1970 by Rich Siebert of Delaware PA..car was all stock except for custom rims, hand painted 455 on shaker and some dumb sheep fur seat covers...it was the only immaculate T/A that I have ever seen in person..I always wonder what has become of this car...the shaker was definitely Lucerne blue

Thinking, using only logic, I believe the correct color would be lucerne blue. My shaker appears to have originally been painted Lucy blue as well.
