Oldeboy70. Thanks for the post. I believe my clock is the same as your. It does
appear to have those three hooks on the clock housing. I know from you experience
that I probably only have to loosen the three bolts. They look like very small heads on
them as well. I don't want to remove the dash pad so I will try to get a small socket
on the bolts. My problem is getting my hands back there. I believe Performance years also has a service to refurbish the clocks and add the Quartz works. The cost is I believe $120.00 which isn't a bad price. Thanks for info Soups

do you have ac or not. i have swapped the tach in same location by working under the dash. the screws are either 1/4 or 5/16 heads, top screw is a pain and but other were doable. if necessary i could assist.

Storminnorman: Thanks for your reply. I have found out that the clock in a 69 does
not have the "hooks" that the screws go through so the screws have to be backed all
the way out. I talked to Mike from Performance Years who has taken a number
of the clocks out. He is telling me to remove drivers seat to give plenty of room to
lay on floor and get arms up under the dash to remove clock with a 5/16 socket. Suppose to warm up here later this week so will venture out to the garage and give
