yikes! and did this have a happy ending? How'd you catch it before it crumbled? Partial failure that gave you time for the straps?

Although I do hope things worked out for you maybe next time you will assemble it properly it all starts with where you lag it into the concrete. I do concrete for a business and from what I see your steel pedestals are just being pulled off the top of your concrete floor. Bad installation I don't see anywhere that the lift failed just the person who installed it.
Not bad for a clone but looks like the hood to bumper did not fit to begin with. PS I like the Jumping dancing Pontiac Puds to bad all of them were not there when your lift failed you could of just handed it down one to another. If you don't take my advice they will be calling you benthoodbob bentfenderbob bentcoresupportbob bentvalancebob bentendurabumperbob but what could HOBI possibly know. Looks like the other lift is OK .OH that's right theres nothing on that one.

when i was younger i could lift the front end of a non-ac car by myself, and kick a cinder block under each wheel .

but like Hobi mentions, i started noticing it was playing havock on my front bumper and stuff . so i quit doing it that way .
Probably couldn't even do it now if i had to -

Good talking to you Baron I cant believe in over 36 years of this we never crossed paths, I hope you make it to the Nationals in Pittsburg and I can hear some real RAM IV stories Dixie style, that is if I don't get beat up by a BOY BAND FIRST.
