Default THE WASH SWITCH

actually 24 years ago that switch bugged me...but the only button repoped is PUSH..plus the stencil is worn..when I saw new!..its all related to my dash/interior..I need it perfect..this switch is related to what I have going on with the dash project...I am have the engine turned dash re clear coated along with the 2 other pieces..in a few days I will post an over the top N.O.S. part that I still cannot believe I found!...and I am done!...no major parts or anything crazy that I am searching for..the T/A is complete..it has a 73 SR motor..its a numbers matching car, 58k miles, purchased 14 years from its build date from the original owner..it is what it is..new GM sheetmetal/no bondo...and as far as major options, the car is loaded..and I have a low initial investment..soon as this weather breaks it will be running and the interior looking quite different...paint is not the priority..the car running under its own power again is..and being able to listen to the radio!!

Default Expert says what?

Quote:[the T/A is complete..it has a 73 SR motor..its a numbers matching car.

You are sadly mistaken. Your car will never be a matching number car unless you find the original VIN stamped YB block your car left the factory with. That's what numbers matching means. SR means its NOT the original.

Just correcting another wrong statement. If the numbers on the block don't match the cars VIN number, that means it is a NON-numbers matching car. You stated you have a numbers matching car. My point is quite clear. Your is not. This website is for correct, useful information for others and when you make false statements we are all happy to correct you.

Just stating facts. Your 1 1/2 years experience shows. Maybe you should spend more time reading and learning instead of typing and telling people what an expert you are. How's the job search going? I really enjoy your pictures of bolts and nuts. That's what I have been waiting for all these years.
