Paul, sorry I missed you. But your brother Tom came to talk to me and he was hawking (in a good way) EFI too. I have his card. When I saw the card and WI on it I had a feeling that I met him before, I must have been thinking of you. Sorry Paul (Carter) but if I could afford it I would go EFI. But it would be a stack Hilborn, Enderle, or one of the stack injections converted to electronics. This is a pic of the Malco Mustang Gasser when they were playing with turbocharging stack injection. This is what I've always wanted to do only EFI.

Would not need all that crazy plumbing. But that is what I would do given overfilled pockets. Maybe someday.
Paul, your brother Tom started talking Megasquirt and it's exactly what I would probably go with. If I sell my carbs (CSU E85 blow thru 750's), my Accell 300+ ignition system, 375 control module, and the accompanying super coil, I could probably build a MS system, add injectors and add throttle bodies for the same money.
Paul (Carter) why do you say NO to EFI?

Mark

For one, IT'S A NOSTALGIA GASSER! Did they ever have EFI?
Two; dual carbs look cool!
Three; and I know I'll catch hell for this, but, properly tuned carbs will make more power than fuel injection every time.

Fuel injection is for cars you drive all over the place on a regular basis, not a nostalgia gasser! That's my opinion anyway, and I'm sticking to it! But it's all good, don't listen to me, it's your car, you need to do it how you want it.

I still like the carbs better though!
