What Intake manifold are you running?
Pull the intake and gaskets off and set the Intake on the motor and make sure that the Intakes bottom edge is not sitting on the valley pan or a bit of the gasket sticking out from the valley pan. If that is not a issue than make sure that the Manifold does not rock left to right by more than .035" when checked with a feeler gauge, if it does it will be a Bitch to seal things up and likely that milling the Manifold time is in your future! If the Manifold looks like it will sit flat, but is being held up by the valve pan than that lower section of the manifold needs to be ground back and or the valley pan is shifted to the right or left. If you place some clay on the lip of the valley pan and plunck the Intake on you will very clearly see if a clearance issue is going on!

Tried pf65 and a performer. Both leaked. How much do I have to have mill off normally ?
