Not to pile the love on too deep, but I have driven/rode in this car many times and it is top shelf. I have always been impressed by how tight and solid it is.....rolling down the freeway @ 75, a/c blowing cold and it is rock solid. There are no squeaks or rattles, just a very pleasant driver. I question Jimmy's sanity for selling it.

Well,if you're going to be that way......

Thermostat housing and RF fender,as previously pointed out.......replacement alternator, later style cap on washer jug and I think I spotted some rust on the exhaust pipes..........

I don't feel that these things really detract from the quality of the car,but may be reflected in the actual selling price.

"The correct 1970 only thermostat housing is still on the car."

Looks like the 71 and later style, am I wrong?

I wouldn't say that ! LOL

Why does the hood stripe look crooked behind the shaker? The black is thinner on the passenger side. Wrong shroud and M/C including the color.

Still a great looking car though and small things are easy to fix. I like it.

? How difficult is it to remove a stripe that has been on a car for 2 to 5 years.

Still is a great looking car

Car was hit in the mid 70s and the pass fender and hood were replaced. Not sure about the hood stripe, May be something with the pic, I don't recall the stripe being crooked. I may see the car this afternoon and I'll ck it out.

It is the same car and same photo that was used in the promotion of TransAmStripes.net.

The 455HO decals were put on for the shoot so the 455HO letters could be used in the promotion. I had no idea the shaker was angled enough that they would show up in the overhead shot as prominently as they did. Pretty cool right!

Anyway, Jimmy pulled the decals off within seconds of us calling the photoshoot a wrap, LOL.

Love that top view of the T/A and stripes. But I always wondered why the dash appeared to be '70 Bright Blue on a car that had '71/'72 shaker decals. Now I know
