Remember that if you're using the door jamb sticker from an older car like my LeMans, the recommended pressure will refer to the original bias plys. That recommendation has no value for modern radial tires - in this case, ignoring the door jamb and following the tire recommendation is the way to go.

X2. Although the "door jamb" sticker on my '66 Tempest Custom wagon is in the glovebox.
