Nice! I like it.

Here's an idea - since your friend is obviously talented scale modeling, perhaps he could modify a 1:18 scale ERTL '70 to '73 Trans Am to give you the proper '73 SD 455 Formula look. Seems like it'd be "a piece 'O cake" for him to fill the frt fender extractors, remove the wheel spats, Rr deck lid spoiler & air dams, scuff the body, and color change he's already matched your OEM. That way you'd have a 1:18 1973 Shaker metal body Firebird. Yes? Ask him what he thinks.

Like the '70 & '73 Ertl's shown below:
