Who goes to Sonny Leonard to get a Pontiac built? Sonny builds $100,000 mountain engines.

GTOFreek-- Calvin is a man of means, years ago he had 3 Lingenfelter twin turbo corvettes, 2 yellows and 1 black 2000-2004 models. He had over $100,000.00 in each one many other cars from 20,000-60,000 that I can remember. As far as Sonny Leonard, I think Calvin was just reaching out to someone to build his engine. I think I will direct him to C&C in Manassas or I will build it. Kinda want to keep it local. |

From a business perspective, that's smart. But, you opened your mouth posting it.

Mr. Held for Ransom, I just repeated what was told to me. That was why I claimed ignorant on the j-code motor. Hopefully I can further my knowledge on the subject with more knowledgable people here. Maybe I can now go back to my friend and tell him there is no such thing as a j-code pontiac engine. I did not post anything about the pluses or minuses of a j-code pontiac motor, only repeated what was told to me. It now appears that there is no such animal, I know that because someone constructively contributed information unlike you that offers a smarta$$ comment.

If it weren't for Butler in the process of moving to another location, that would be my suggestion. 4 hour drive each way is within the range of being worth driving it instead of shipping it. They just quoted me last week 4-6 weeks on an unassembled short block, which isn't bad, and would be shorter if it weren't for the move. .

I did not know Butler was just 4 hours away. Hopefully they will be moving closer to us. |
