Based on LH valve cover… I wonder if it was originally an AIR car?

Dead,,,,You mean as a California emissions AIR car?? I have no idea. Was told it spent its entire life in Sierra Vista Az. Dont have any more history on the car yet. Was told there is a full paperwork folder that comes with the car, to include any & all work performed on it in the last 49 years.

The waiting is killing me!

I can imagine it is driving you nuts waiting.

Yes, that is what I was wondering. Was it built in CA? If so, might just have the valve cover w/plug and not have had pump etc. if sold to different state. Or… take-off when A/C put in?

I thought 1966 was the first year for Calif smog pump.
This GP is a '65, if I'm not mistaken.
