Mr. Held for Ransom, I just repeated what was told to me. That was why I claimed ignorant on the j-code motor. Hopefully I can further my knowledge on the subject with more knowledgable people here. Maybe I can now go back to my friend and tell him there is no such thing as a j-code pontiac engine. I did not post anything about the pluses or minuses of a j-code pontiac motor, only repeated what was told to me. It now appears that there is no such animal, I know that because someone constructively contributed information unlike you that offers a smarta$$ comment.
