The Design lobby was recently remodeled and restored to its 1955 configuration.

Many of the areas of the Tech Center, like Harley Earl's office, are designated historic sites and cannot be remodeled. Mr Earl's office looks just like it did when he left it, even though it is now in use by GM VP Ed Wellburn.

The vehicles are vintage but I believe the photos themselves also vintage, I believe photos are from 1954, suspect these were issued when GM
celebrated their 50 millionth

Also interesting to learn that first Pontiac was designated by GM to represent the 5 millionth

Here's a shot of Rich McDaniel's Firebird getting roughed up by George Follmer's Mustang. It appears George Follmer is trying to
pass on the inside going into the turn, he's up on the curb, and McDaniel locks up the brakes of his Firebird.
