Well lots going on here lately. Been shipping stuff off to get restored, refinished or rebuilt. Brake booster just came back and looks great. Here is a shot of the Julian date code
![]() shipping out the hood hinges and original master cylinder next week to get restored. Also shipped out the stock am radio to get modern guts including Bluetooth Mike and I finally finished the second block sanding and it looks great. Car is coming apart next and it will get one more coat of primer that will eventually get wet sanded. Moving along pretty good at this point.

" Got my dash and console ready and shipped off to Just dashes today."
I've had several 69 GTO dashes done by Just Dashes over the years....the first ones were fine, but the last one they did for me they didn't remove the old vinyl off the dash.....they put the new vinyl over the old cover. It looked OK, but the fit around the glove box door and around the gauge bezels was too tight due to the the thickness of the material. I would call them if I were you and tell them not to do that on your dash or you will have hell trying to make it work. It took me 4 hours to get the gauge bezels to go in and the glove box door never has fit right on the dash in question. ] |

Did you get it taken apart w/o breaking anything including the glass? I have looked at mine and have not taken it apart, but I would love to restore the original. I have also looked for someone that would just take it and restore it. Do you have any pointers for doing this? Thanks
