I am using a library computer and I still need to work out the kinks..getting ready to install the new muffler & tailpipes and will ask advice when I am organized..my seat back panels are paid but not due in for another month..and the T/A is in a new garage

so IMO the repo 1970 to 74 traverse muffler is an exact looking replacement..the tailpipes look good with kinks and bends all in the right places and the welded on hangers are a close match..was happy to get them from a company like WALDRON than having a muffler shop make me a set and reuse my old brackets..as they claim to use the factory blueprints

WELDED BRACKETS LOOK CLOSE TO STOCK AND ARE SLIGHTLY ADJUSTABLE...N.O.S. TIPS FIT EXCELLANT...THE FUN IS INSTALLING THE MUFFLER TO THE ORIGINAL HEADPIPES AND OVER THE AXLE PIPES

a P.Y. member had posted a photo of a low miles 71 T/A..I never picked up on the positive cable routing thru the gearbox...makes sense and keeps the cable away from the block..this is a repop cable..most likely a cable with the weave (I have seen them advertised) would be more correct for 1972 but really I have yet to see detail photos of a low miles 72
