Pretty sure that's the X-400. I think Joe Bortz owns it now.....or at least he did.

No Pontiac'sin it, But I like it. The Plane is a "Carvair" a converted DC4 that was initially used to fly Cars over the English Channel. By the Chevy's on the Truck I would say this picture was taken late 1970 to Mid 1972.

I dunno- that back car on the bottom looks an awful lot like a '71 GTO to me!

You could be correct, it is either a 71 GTO or a Heavy Chevy, the Vega's and Chevelle's made me miss the Possible Pontiac. I must be getting Old!!!!!

The Chevelle is a '71 as well.

(70 Chevelle = dual headlamps)
(71 Chevelle = single headlamps, split parking light)
(72 Chevelle = single headlamps, solid parking light)

Those were the days, eh?

Nowadays you'd get a lapel pin or something.

I hear what you are saying Keith! Alittle off subject. If you ever heard a Latham Blower on the street you would never forget it!!! An Officer in my Fathers Squaden had a 3 or 4 rotor version on his Chrysler 300 back in the late 60's. It sounded like he had a jet engine under the hood!!!! You could hear that car coming at least 2 miles away (it was at NAS Corpus Christi so nothing to block the sound unless the F-4's were taking off) Only bad thing was my Father always knew when he was running late!!!! Thanks for the memories, I had forgotton about that car it still had tailfins so it must have been a late 50's Model.
I don't think you could drive a Latham on the street in most parts of the county, even back then you would get noise complaints!
