Not that it matters, but my original purchase price is a matter of record... Right after I got the car home, I wrote to HPP and bragged about my new find. They published a sentence or two in the "rare finds" (or something like that) section in the back pages of the jan (or nov?) 1989 issue. IIRC, the overall magazine cover was a semi closeup of the front of a red 65 GTO in front of a bunch of green trees... Anyway, that was my 15 minutes of fame.
