His biggest mistake was including a copy of his receipt for all the new sheetmetal. I can tell by the hole in the trunk that he didn't install it. His shopping list alone shows there is a lot of rust going on under there.

Just brings back memories of the red '65 I went to look at back when I was in high school. (he wanted $800.) I popped the hood and the drivers' side subframe rail was rusted all the way through - a few inches of the entire beam had just disappeared!

JK. Long time ago had a family member try to pawn off a New England Rusty notch 65 Stang straight 6 (250 Ford truck motor) w 3-spd stick...thing ran great...but it was rotten w same cancer rust that made me laugh and say "thanks but no thanks!" And I never looked back or regretted it.
