Its WAY Overkill. Once I was at a old junkyard and needed a windshield frame for a 65 Corvette. The guy looped the seal belts together and lifted the whole car with a forklift out of the line of cars it was in across a field to an open spot. Those belts were 35 years old, sun beaten and still held up the body and frame.

Yeah, they pull engines out all the time with old belts at the JY lol.

My RJS harness is like cloth type feeling. Hope I didn't tell you something you already know. Passing on signing - not really involved in racing enough. Sorry. Also I should mention that I strapped in my RJS harness probably some 2400 times in a street car over 4-years. That's not gonna help with fraying.
