Jeff, I'm not putting down OPH's experience. I'm just stating my
 on what my experience has been with the 8.2s in all of my old Pontiacs. I still stand by my saying if the car is used on the drag by all means go with another rear. But if it's a street car you're not abusing, then I see nothing wrong with the 8.2. If it wasn't up to par back in the 60s, then Pontiac would have changed it or make it stronger.
