One of my BILs lives in Port Orange. His wife's uncle was a NASCAR safety official for many years. It's AMAZING where a limo pass will let you park. BTW......Daytona 500 #4 for me.

I usually park on the far side of the mall across the street..... just outside the mall exit, there is a small lot on the right.... little bit of a walk, but the benefit ....... easy out, especially since I stay north of the track , in Ormand Beach.... very little traffic heading that way after the race....

MAN..... now I am twitching to go.....

2016 ..... think I will be back.....

The limo pass my SIL gets takes us right up to the gate on the airport side of the track. Last year, we had a short walk over to our seats on the back stretch. Some times, it pays to know people.

Problem is - you're sitting in the seats on the back side of the track...

Thanks for reminding me about the airport being so close.

Actually, I think the next time we go to Daytona, we'll probably stay at the Hilton property by the airport. My wife was working in Daytona last year and stayed there. IIRC, the Rolex 24 Hour cars were practicing and she could hear the cars on the track.

As we have Diamond status with Hilton - we can stay there for free...
