Do you keep a running tally of hours or dollars on these cars?

Hah. hah. hah...I would never get anything done if I kept a running tally on my spending, and if I did I would be afraid to drive them once finished. I do try to save all the receipts and have kept pretty good files for each car. Now my wife is another story. She probably has it broken down to the nearest dollar and quarter hour...

Default What's This Wire

Can someone help me understand what wire is pictured below? It attaches to the distributor, but I am not sure if it is the tach feed or power feed from the ignition switch. Any help would be appreciated. It is one of only a few underhood wires that I am not replacing.
