Another question...

Was the throttle cable bracket installed on the intake and painted with the engine, or was it plated and installed after engine paint?

Throttle cable bracket was installed after engine was painted.

Thanks Alvin. I buy a lot from Inline Tube as they have a great ebay presence. I can't hardly stand to buy from them through their regular website since they don't have an interactive catalog or search function, but on ebay they have a lot of parts listed and pretty good search capabilities if you go their store.

More on the repop waterneck from our sponsor...

So I thought the repop waterneck was bad before I got the nearly pristine old one from ebay.

Here's a couple pictures that show old and repop side by side. I tried my best to align them accurately. Note the difference in the angle, height and flared end.
