We took Adrian out golfing last weekend, and squeezed in a Concour event while we were there.

It's the first time I've driven a car on a golf course, but for some reason Adrian felt right at home driving on the grass. She did seem to have a nose for dairy cows though there were none in sight.

Like I've said before, we've taken Adrian from the dairy fields of east Texas to the show fields across America. YAY!

Although the show field wasn't huge (just five other cars) I'd say it was competitive. Last years 'Best in Class' winner at this same event, a Cortez Silver '69 ZL-1 Camaro (One of 50 ZL-1) went across the block on Saturday and sold for $650K before commissions. It came in third in this year's Concour event behind a Daytona Yellow Yenko Camaro (One of 201 Yenko's) which sold on Saturday for $190K.

One of the highlights of the weekend was meeting Bob Wicker from these forums. Bob was instrumental in digging up the history and previous owners of Adrian. Bob is also one of the few who saw Adrian in her less complimentary days back in the '90's.

Here's a link to the event: http://concoursoftexas.org/
