The RPM is much better than the performer or P4B Q jet flange, Especially ported, you will gain 10hp up top but lose 10ft lbs down low with a 1" open spacer, a 1" open spacer will net you your best et's and you will be right there with a T2 that is untill the T2 is fully ported with a 1" open spacer fwiw

Good luck with your testing it will be interesting to see your results. About 10 years ago I tested the Torker II against the RPM in my 80 Trans Am with a pump gas 462, ported iron heads, 2800 stall and 3.42 gears. My results were;
Performer RPM 11.42 @ 118.65 with 1.673 Torker II. 11.51 @ 118.31 with 1.685 I remember analyzing the time slips and thinking the T2 was a bit slower between the 60 ft and the 330 ft mark. I had to go up two jet size when I installed the T2 and use slightly larger pump nozzles. Keep up the good work!

I have, and Dave at SD has a interesting porting program for the T2 intake, normally porting=making things bigger which slows air down, except ive found by porting the T2, plenum and runners it actually picks up air speed and torque throughout the rpm range, the RPM is Hard to beat in a streetable setup but it can and has been done, the Tapered 4 hole spacers do better on the street/track than the open spacer does until the cubes get up over 470 it seems to start needing a bit more plenum volume, depending on having the correct combo, good job and good luck testing! I know one thing you wont gain much going to a lower gear set! Got to love these Pontiacs! Tell a chevy guy you run 3.08 gears and then your et lol thats a funny look!

All this testing may come to an end soon,I've decided to make the best of my engine combo.The 3.08's are great on the highway...but I really want now is to push into the 10's...and really give SD's head cam combo what it deserves..plus I want to lay a spanking on my buddy with his 555 BBC on 110 octane !
