Some interesting details of the GTO before I painted it last year.

spatter paint overspray in the trunk

factory inspection tag on the convertible top (factory installed top still in place)

an example of the quality welding workmanship of the craftsman working for Fisher-body at the Fremont plant (looks like the rear seat panel was already welded on the other side and resulted in the drivers side being in front of instead of being behind the brace on the tub.

Yes sir Greg, it is that same car. More than "kind of sunk in the ground" LOL. Been eyeing your 68. Sure looks good with the dog dish hubcaps!
