I'm replacing the door glass on my 68 GTO and I need the rubber "U" shaped channel that goes between the glass and the metal channel it's mounted to. Is this reproduced?

Are you talking about that catwhisker U shaped chrome piece that forms the rearmost edge of the vent wing window. It's main use is that the front edge of your big side glass piece rides in it to stabilize itself going up and down?

No. This is the rubber channel that physically attaches the door glass to the metal track on the bottom of the glass.

Is this a 2dr ht or a convertible?

What you are looking for is, Lock Pillar Weatherstrips. These are the hard rubber, metal reinforced, lock pillar strips. Mounts where the quarter window meets the quarter panel at the door glass. OR do you need the Sash Channels strips that run down the side of the 1/4 chome window strips? The lock pillars are $15.00/pr, The sash tape is $0.50/ft or $1.50/ft. Is this what you are looking for? If you need part ##s let me know.

I guess I'm not explaining this correctly. I will start off by saying 1968 GTO 2 door convertible. The bottom most part of the door glass attaches to a metal channel. That metal channel has a "u" shaped rubber and the glass is pressure fitted into that channel. I'm looking for the rubber "U" channel. That same metal channel also bolts to the door glass. Thanks

The trick in buying the stuff you are talking about is to find it the right thickness. I have not tried to replace the rubber for the door glass, only tried the rear quarter windows on my 68 vert. It's a PITA to install, that's why the thickness is important. IIRC, I sourced mine from an Impala parts vendor.
