i'll take that anyday over going after the income from your paychecks

this way the thugs and others who work off the books pay as well
i know its easier to collect from your income versus other taxes
just put a positive spin on it, like "it's for the children" or it's for someones pension plan

Gas is hovering just over $2 in our area. I paid about $1.85 for off-road diesel, yesterday. Reg diesel remains higher than gas.

Just a few years back, before gas went to $4, diesel was usually at least a dime cheaper than gas, around here. But as gas started to come down, they left diesel from 30-50 cents higher than gas.

Filled up my car YESTERDAY for $2.42 a gallon (Regular). Now the same gas stations that were $2.42 to $2.49 yesterday are $3.19 a gallon! Holy crap! Took 14 gallons yesterday. If I had waited one day, I would paid an extra $10.78. That's 2 Little Caesar's Pizzas + tax.
