O.K.,...so now I feel dumb as I did not catch on that this was an old thread made new...I get it now...very cool..some of the first things I notice comparing this 38k car to my 58k car....I believe my build date falls between NOV. 21-28 1971 (NORWOOD)..my original paint inner fenders show the same funky surface/underneath rust pattern...my front washer hose running to the tank runs off separate like this car...strangely my original fuel pump to carb. hose was also cut and a rubber hose added (perhaps that nut was so tight the original metal line was destroyed)...the vacuum modulator line I am on the fence on...my original was also cut and a rubber hose added...in the 30 year journey of my still not finished TRANS AM (I blame no internet in 1985)...I am on my 3rd and what fits and the parts book shows a small piece of hose connecting the line to the carb...so details/details...very nice car (I AM JEALOUS as a car like that 30 years ago and I would have been done!!

Starting to look things over a little closer.

KR wheels are really early dates:
One is 12-29 70
Four are 12-30-70

Rear spiral shock is 193 '71
Front spiral shock still has remnants of a tag on it.

Brakes have never been gone into. Front rotor is J 6 1. Rear smooth drums are both still secured with two copper hold washers on each drum. What's interesting is the rear drums have a light black paint around the outer portion of the drum, possibly to prevent rust from showing through the slots in the Rally II's.
