I don't mind 60's Chevy trucks as things go, but seriously who the hell dumps a GTO so they can build a "1967 c-10"?!

He's going to "build" a C10, but he doesn't even know how to set timing?

Well, Chevy small blocks are easier to set the timing on than Pontiac small blocks.
