I loved looking at all the cars, it made my think about when i was out running the streets in the late 60's & early 70's. Brought back a lot of good memories. But for the kids now & even the guys that will go to the swap meets in the next several years. They will have to deal with our left overs , because there isn't a car on the road now or the last 25 years that anyone will be looking for parts for them, it will still be parts for car like we drive & covet right now. Not the junk that Detroit has made in the last 25 years. No one will ever care about those cars the way we do ours. It's sad but true. Kids if they are into cars like we are will still be looking for the parts for cars like we have, IF there are kids who are into car at that time. It's a shame not very many car people left in school now, at least not the way we were & are.

Yessir - Although seemingly "slots" and Torq Thrusts were where it was at for a time, and one
of the best bangs for the buck for dressing up back in the day...Keystone Classics too! I recall when those dog-dish (like on the blue Mustang Sports roof below) were scoffed at...as "not cool" even if you had a Boss or any other flavor performance drivetrain... Also reminds of many "dressed up" posers ex: 6cyls w fake 2nd dual exhaust hung, etc. You? Note couple of things here on this screen grab (below): 1 - Can relate to the engine yanked and "young Turk's" gleeful exuberant expression. And 2 - Notice the number of people (proudly) next to their vehicles & projects...no matter the make or model. Any guesses on what brand of the pulled engine? |

And they look REALLY cool compared to the styling of today's cars.

I've had that link saved for a while now. I'll be using it as a guide/reference for when I paint my car over again.

Surprised there's no comments on the several "Flash Em!" pictures in there!
