I can never understand how a high dollar restoration can be done and they have that engine turned dash with the RTS emblem on it?
(even looks like it might have the correct glove box door?) ![]() To me that sticks out like a sore thumb and is worse than a 1970 Formula with the rear spoiler. ![]() Car looks great otherwise.

Is it really a top quality restoration? No pix of much to prove it. IMHO

I probably shouldn't have said 'high dollar', just a restoration.
![]() When they say numbers matching, blah, blah, blah, makes me wonder about the work on it when something like the dash is glaring out at you. Especially when it's a 'low mile' car, why does it need anything?

Now the Formulas were less than 500 total for the 2 years of production.

Worse than that, it is the bezel with the pulse wiper/round turn signal unit.

I was tightening up the lower heater hose clamp to the water pump today on the 73 SD Formula and had to remove the 80 amp alternator idler pulley assembly in order to get to it. So I finally got a photo of the EUN on the front of the block that is hidden by the idler bracket. The car was ordered by Enrico Stein on 05/09/1973, shipped on 07/19/1973 and delivered to him on 07/31/1973.
Here you go:

Now don't make me ruin all that nice, original patina (grease) to get to it!
(I'll try to get a looksie this weekend) |
