Hi all,
Had a message from Pat Smith few months back who had been approached by a publisher on doing a book just on 1973-74 SD 455 Trans Ams and Formulas. If you or anyone you know would be interested in having pictures of your cars in the book than I can forward you his email address or maybe direct him to the forum. Michael |

Cool, Ken.
Did the engine have the engine unit number on it at that time? And if sent back, the 'new' engine get the same eun or it also had it's own eun? (plus was the sent back one recycled to another car?)

Slight Problem.
I just got in touch again with Pat Today with all the interest on this Book.
Unfortunately he has told the Publisher he is not available for the next 16 months due to other projects and commitments and would not be able to dedicate the time to make the book right. The publisher is keen to push ahead and would most likely look for another writer. The publisher is Cartech Books and Pat is sure it will get iff the ground just not with him but he will definately let us know when it does in the not too distant future. Michael Quote:

Wrong section I know, but WTF.....
I got all excited when I first saw this car because I would really love to have a Buc Red SD, and one with a 4 speed is even better. However, the more I look at it the more problems I see. All the front fender fasteners have been painted red, the left door weatherstripping has some nice red overspray, and it is obviously parked in a body shop with very poor housekeeping.
