Where are you that premium runs that rich? Here in Commiefornia it's a standard 0.10-0.15 split from 87 to 91.

Ben - sorry, I should have stated such. Lake County, IL - the most northeastern county in IL and borders WI. The spreads seem to be the same throughout NE IL, SW WI and NW IN.

Sadly this is how it is around here! There is typically a 30 to 40 cent spread between the 3 grades believe it or not! As of today it's as low as $1.99 for 87 in the outer neighborhoods of the city and maybe 20 to 30 cents cheaper in some suburbs. Diesel and 93 octane always seems to be very over priced in this overtaxed city!

We go to a Costco that's just a few miles outside the city limits and it's typically 50 cents a gal cheaper. And during the summer I only gas up the goat with 93 there where it's way cheaper!

Gas here took a big jump overnight. From 1.53 to 1.65 most places. Change over from winter to summer fuel is the excuse.
