Pat - thanks for responding. For now, if you could just post a good picture of the 1/4 EVAP hose and stampings I would be appreciative. Also a dimension on how far apart the stampings are on the hose. I am planning to make a jig this weekend to hold the hose and keep the rubber stamp properly located, but would like to see a good original first.

Here's the one in my car now. I'll take some pics of the other hoses and post them tomorrow. So you telling me that inline tube sells the evap stamp?
Cool....just looked it up. I'd just use that spray engine paint for the blue color. Spray some out and dip away. Gotta be close to the same color blue stamping.

Thanks Pat. Yeah the Inline stamp matches your original hose. One other I have seen had the stamps much closer together and had the inch Mark ( " ) after the 1/4 which doesn't match the Inline stamp or your original, and the order is different. Look forward to seeing what I can do this weekend....

Found 3 different printings for the EVAP hoses. The ones with the 1/4" and the 1/4 printed first are on a different type of hose than the ones where EVAP 1/4 is printed. The EVAP 1/4 hoses are the ribbed style.....where you can see and feel the indentions along the length of the hose. The others are printed on smooth hoses. Those hoses I believe were removed from newer cars if I recall correctly....newer than 1972. Interesting there's 3 different stampings.

Here's the measurement for the EVAP 1/4 distances for the ribbed style hose. Stamp is 1" .....so compare that with the repro stamp distance....wonder if that's right....and looks like their gapped about 1" apart too"...but accurately 7/8" apart. Looking forward to seeing the end product! A great detail that is often overlooked. They also used that hose from the carb down to the intake carb switch.
