I thought I did a good job of it & it went 11:77 @ 116. It idles at 800 rpm's with a good sound out the back of the exhaust & I can go just about any where with it I drives as even as it did when it was new. I have a few bucks in it But for what I have in it & the way it runs I love it. I don't have any fancy tunning involved in it & I can run on 87, but if I want to run it hard now I have to use 91 or 93 if I can find it. It went the 11:77 on 89 octane because thats what was in it when I got over to the track. I feel my biggest & best upgrade was the E-heads. Also this build is a FTC to.

I agree. I would have been perfectly happy with my SFT/KRE combo if the cam didn't show early signs of failure. That said, I was not going to find myself in the same position again so once I decided to go roller, I wanted a cam that had characteristics similar to a RAIV cam and the OF seemed to offer slightly better performance. I am not expecting a ton more power out of this investment, just elimination of the need to mess with the oil with an update to a more modern cam.
