I remember seeing an older, early 60's Ranchero years ago that had 406 badges on it. I don't recall if they ever made it that way or if someone just put the badges on it.

The 406 was only available for a couple years before it was replaced by the 427 in 1963. During that time period Rancheros were based on the Falcon, so none of those came with a 406 factory installed. The Fairlane based Ranchero started in 1966.

it was a lot smaller then the other Rancheros. I didn't know it was based on the Falcon. thx
