Tommy Brown & Brad Burton are still alive after round 2, of Stock.

After 2 rounds of SS, there are no Pontiac Super Stockers still in the hunt.

So, that leaves the 2 Stockers to represent Pontiac Power, at Pomona, on Saturday. Good luck to the Pontiac guys !

Well, Tommy broke out, in round 4. So, all the Pontiacs have bowed out, at Pomona.

But, there's a lot of racing ahead, this year. So, we'll have some Pontiac winner's before the year is over.

That's not a bad showing. Anyone who has never done it may not realize how tough it is go a few rounds in an NHRA national event. I have several friends who run in Stock and Super Stock and even though their cars are .8 or better under, it's still tough to go rounds. That group of 5 of the top 16 qualifiers is still mind boggling for an obsolete, out of business brand that is never given any respect. Go Pontiac!
