If that is all of the codes on the sheet, there is no Y82 or Y88 (gold) option?
It was possibly just a TA that had the Gold and it's accommodating interior added? The Solar Gold was originally just for the Y88 but later became available to the other cars. (like Carousel red in 69 and other colors) Edit: Alvin's article explains it, even from start of production Would like to see the cowl tag also. I as well would like to know what that ZP2 means.

Neat looking car. You"re having fun now...
Google it and ZP2 is a well known GM override code. http://www.ncrs.org/forums/archive/i...p/t-54262.html http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=9399.0 |

Quote:
Like those factory two color optioned TA's ex: red dash, and carpet w white seats, door panels, headliner, etc.? Edit: this is what I'm talking about from http://www.78ta.com/trimbook.htm replace the white w black on the "Apointment Mix Interiors" Option ![]() Prolly not, but would be a "factory freak" if so.

I think if you had enough stroke to get a ZP2 order you probably had enough stroke to get whatever you wanted as part of it. Maybe not....

Yes and I can see where the "Bandit" black theme cars were the counter to Y88 "Gold Specials" so although odd now..."it could happen" as in color flips and trips way back in '78
