I beleive all GM 61-63 turn signal switch that use a bodle cable would be the same. I have a 61. Can you post a pic of the part you need?

Yes. 1961-64 P/8 are the same directional turn signal switches.
It is shown in my 1963 Pontiac Service Manual.

I looked it up also in a GM Dealership Vintage Parts Catalog I have.
Covers 1955-75 Pontiacs.
Print date of February 1982.

I may have found it.

My Suburban popped a head gasket.
Turn signal working intermittent .
Have to Jiggle the Turn signal lever.

Sure Rides nice compared to todays crappy cars.

Its a Long slender rod that actuates the Turn signal switch in my 1963 G.P.

Cable Remote setup is for Tilt Column cars only.

In the 7 months or so I have owned my 62, I have found 3 electrical items that are tough to find and are not reproduced. The turn signal switch is one, the 2 speed wiper switch, and the headlight switch are all used up to 64 or so. None are being reproduced that I know of. As posted above, I very carefully took my turn signal switch apart and cleaned the contacts, lubricated it and put it back together. They are a little delicate and the bend tabs need special care to not break off.

The 1966 and 1972 parts books list the non tilt switch as group # 2.895 with a part # 1993531.
Fits 1961-64 non tilt column full size Pontiac.

I think you're looking for the one on the left. That was my old one, which was cracked. I bought the one on the right which was for a different application BUT only because of the attaching bracket. Found it on the ePay by looking at photos. I very carefully swapped the switch part to my bracket. There are a few on there now, quite pricey at $165+
