I think I posted these way back in this thread, but it's worth posting again....
This is the Lockheed factory in Burbank, CA, before and after the attack on Pearl Harbor in December 1941. Fearing a Japanese attack, they totally camouflaged the entire plant to be virtually undetectable from the air. Fake trees, landscaping, even phony houses. Before  After

Thanks for lockheed info. On other subject about Chaparral, bought the history book. Interesting the coupe had older body inside of it.The ' sucker car' was something.
