68 GTO 4 speed.
I am trying to get all the vacuum lines hooked up as original. I have everything correct for the thermostatic vacuum switch. My question is, where does the air cleaner vacuum hose go? It was attached where the "yellow" hose from the switch is now going. I do not see any "open" ports on the carb. The only available port is on the manifold just in front of the carb. Thanks |

Pretty sure that port on the manifold is where it goes but I could be wrong.

If you have a 68 service manual, look at page 6B-2. View B, 4bbl carb ... shows the vacuum line coming up from a manifold fitting right behind the thermostat housing. About in the middle of the front runner that goes to the front two cylinders. It's a small port, not the larger one with the square fitting.
I can post a scan if needed. |

Thanks so much. That's exactly what I need.
I have the restoration guide, but not a service manual. |

Just do me a favor and remember the answer, cause I'll forget it before it's time to put my engine back together
