Iva always heard that torque and horsepower cross at 5252rpm. How does that work, or does it, on an engine like this?

Most engine dynos measure torque, and calcualte HP using what Mike said.

Horsepower = torque (ft-lbs) x rpm/ 5252.

So when rpm is 5252, then 5252/5252 = 1 and then torque and horsepower have to be equal.
