Pontiacs winning stock classes at NHRA Nationals... is this 1961 or 2016?

Anybody else on this planet campaign a M/T hemi Pontiac for eleven seasons? ... or has built a record breaking DOHC hemi four cylinder Pontiac? ... or has driven a couple laps of Nuerburgring with Tri-Power Pontiac power?(back in 1967) ... or has a Pontiac born the same year as Jim Wangers? (1926}

E-1 in GA
The weather is lookin good for the rest of the weekend, in GA. So, they've got a lot of racin to do. Michael Brand, Tommy Pettigrew, and Adam Davis won their 1st round of elims.

Vegas E-1
Brad Burton and Leo Glasbrenner made it safely thru round 1 of Stock elims, in Vegas.

In GA, Tommy Pettigrew made it to the quarter-final round.

In SS, both Leo Glasbrenner & Don Kennedy made it thru round 2.

Well Leo made it thru round 3, in both Stock & SS. Hey, a double would be cool.

Sunday Elims--Vegas
They decided to run 2 rounds of Stock and SS elims, before the Pros run. Brad & Leo both survived both rounds, in Stock.

So, if Brad can win his race, it'll be an all Pontiac final, in Stock ! How cool is that ?
