1968 GTO Convertible
1968 GTO Convertible, True 242 VIN.
Vedoro Green – Was told the paint is original, it still has a nice shine. Black Power Top – Good Cond – I have a brand new top with glass window that comes with the car. Works nicely. Black Interior – Good Original Driver Cond. Clock Says 68K Miles – Might be true as it sat in storage for 20 + years. Original 400 with 2BBL Carb (Factory ordered “Economy” Package. Only 432 made in 1968). Runs nicely. New cam, lifters, bearings, water pump, belts and etc. Turbo 400 with His/Hers shifter. Hideaway Headlights. All Trim intact and nice. Factory Rally Wheels (Not on car). Currently has very nice 15” Polished Centerline wheels. Chassis appears to be clean with some surface rust. Floors and trunk seem to be solid, maybe a few minor softspots. Fenders have typical heel rot. Quarters have rot over the wheel wells. Doors appear solid. Hood is solid. Trunklid is solid with a dent. Rear bumper has rust (I have another in driver condition). Clean valance panel and enduro. Glass is good. Wheel Housings are good. Radiator support from what I can tell is clean. Exhaust leaks but not terribly. Clean dashboard, not butchered up. Factory jack. All lights work. If the car doesn't sell here, I plan to list it on EBAY to open my sale to a wider audience. I will list it with a "Buy it Now" price of $17K with Best Offer option. Serious Inquiries Only. Thank You. Last edited by 1bad65; 02-29-2016 at 06:33 PM. |
