They decided to run 2 rounds of Stock and SS elims, before the Pros run. Brad & Leo both survived both rounds, in Stock.
![]() http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...er=30#indextop http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...er=30#indextop Leo also won round 4, in SS, but tripped the red light in round 5. ![]() http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...er=30#indextop http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...er=30#indextop Leo gets the bye, in the semi-finals. So, if Brad can win his race, it'll be an all Pontiac final, in Stock ! How cool is that ?

Well, just when you think it can't get any better, it does. According to this post, another Pontiac powered Bird won today's race in GA--Adam Davis driving. This has truly been a great day for Pontiac power !
![]() http://classracer.com/classforum/sho...0&postcount=51 Congrats to Adam !

The only difference Jack, is Pontiac was IN BUSINESS in 1961! Congratulations to all Pontiac class racers. What a great weekend. How many Saturns, Saabs, Oldsmobiles, Buicks, and Hummers are in the winners circle 6 years after being canned by the parent company and 35 years after their engine platform was killed off. Great job guys!

Well, while the guys were doing good in NHRA races this past weekend, J.B. Clegg had a good weekend at the IHRA race, in Texas.
They had a double header. J.B. got RU at the 1st race & made it to the semi-finals, in the second race, with his '74 SD455 SS Bird(the old H-O car). His dad, John Clegg, won the last race. But, I don't think John is running Pontiac power in his 3rd gen. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Anyhow, congrats to the Clegg's for a great weekend of racing. ![]() https://www.facebook.com/john.clegg.16 I assume the '74 in the background of the 1st pic, is the Stocker, driven by Hunter Pierdolla. |

This weekend there is a div 4 race at No Problem Raceway, in Belle Rose, LA.
http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...UMMIT#indextop The only Pontiac powered cars I know of, that might be there, are J.B. Clegg's '74 Bird Super Stocker, and Hunter Pierdolla's '74 Bird Stocker. There's also a div 7 race, in Vegas. I assume that most of the Pontiacs that were there last weekend, will be entered this week. http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...UMMIT#indextop Hoping for another big Pontiac week. Good luck ya'll.

I think I can count 8 Pontiac powered Stockers, in the 1st round of qualifying, at Vegas.
